27. Fire-Rated Cabling and Containment

27.1 The Contractor shall provide fire-rated cabling throughout all riser shafts, rated to 90 minutes in accordance with the base building specification.

27.2 All cable containment above false ceilings shall be galvanised steel trunking, minimum 100x50mm.

31. Testing and Commissioning

31.4 Testing and commissioning of the fire alarm system shall be witnessed by the Employer's Representative no less than 5 working days prior to handover.

27.1 The Contractor shall provide fire-rated cabling throughout all riser shafts, rated to 120 minutes in accordance with the base building specification.

27.1A New: All penetrations through fire-rated risers shall be sealed with an intumescent fire-stop system, tested to BS 476 Part 20.

31. Testing and Commissioning

31.4 Testing and commissioning of the fire alarm system shall be witnessed by the Employer's Representative no less than 10 working days prior to handover.
